Cloud computing is on the rise

The term 'cloud-based computing' might not be familiar to the average Jo, but cloud computing is on the rise with more and more companies endorsing the system by making new deals to bring an 'IT-networked society' to life.

Microsoft and Japan's biggest IT service provider Fujitsu have signed the dotted line on a global cloud computing partnership - Fujitsu will start with a system in Japan this year and by next year plan to have cloud based systems in Australia and other countries.

They believe in it so much they are investing AUD $1.3 billion in their cloud based systems this year alone!

We might be small, but it seems Fortix is ahead of it's time with its cloud-based systems - providing quality, high-tech cloud-based computing services to our clients at an affordable price point.

And in case you are still wondering what cloud based computing is, think of your average hotmail or yahoo mail account - where does all the data get stored once you have filed a draft or sent an email? In a cloud of course!
